- Helen E. Mutch, Ph.D. is a 1998 graduate of the United States Naval Academy and subsequently served as a Surface Warfare Officer in U.S. Navy. Upon completion of her naval service, Helen began a very challenging yet rewarding career in science/math education where she completed both her Master's degree and Ph.D.
In addition to her career as a science/math educator, Helen is also a certified Personal Trainer (CPT), Pilates instructor, Holistic Life Coach, and Health Counselor. Helen received her training to practice Health Couseling at the Institute for Integrative Nutrition, which is the only nutrition school integrating all the different dietary theories-combining the knowledge of traditional philosophies with modern concepts like the USDA food pyramid, the glycemic index, the Zone and raw foods.
