HOW TO SAY "NO"
======================================
Women are notoriously known for having a difficult time saying
"no". This word has just two letters, yet we carry it around like
an extremely large dictionary...for some of us, it weighs heavily in
our hearts when we have to say "no".
We were not born with a built-in gene that must say "yes" to every
request that comes our way. So why do we feel compelled to give our
time away to others?
Each one of us has a barrage of reasons why we just…

Neighborhoods and the spirit of neighborliness are old fashioned virtues that we've have lost track of.
Life is more fun, easier and more satisfying if you have a connection with people you live among.
Here are ways to rekindle your ne…

Your self-confidence is directly connected to how much you feel you are making a difference in the world. Are you really "asleep?" Wandering through life in a state of continuous habit and reacting to every situation rather than creating each experience? (Just ask yourself.) Try and make all decisions from love not fear. Remove fear completely, it serves no purpose.
Everything you do should benefit your mind, body or spirit. If it does not fit into one of those categories....it may need to be le…

Slow down as the sun goes down - What do I mean by this? Well just as important as it is to eat a great breakfast to start the day, it is also as equally important to reduce your food consumption as the day goes on. So plan to eat a good solid breakfast, a good lunch, and reduce your meal portions at dinner time. Remember as you get closer to bedtime your body starts to wind down and you will not have the same opportunity at night to burn those consumed meal calories as you did earlier in the da…

As a personal wellness and lifestyle fitness coach I work with many people that struggle to maintain some semblance of control over their lives both personally and professionally. I hear comments of: " I never have control over what matters..." or "I can't seem to get control my time..." or "My life or business is out of control!" The first question I usually ask is: "What do you have control of?" It is amazing, the response is often a great silence, and then I usually get another list of what i…

Many people are looking for the best overall exercises and if I was to select the best Single Exercise if you could only pick one, it would be the Leg Squat. Squats are an excellent lower body exercise that hit the largest muscles in your body that include glutes, hamstrings, quads, and calves. Working your largest muscle groups help you begin the body composition transformation that reduces fat % and builds toned muscles. Find an Exercise ball, lean against it back and head straight looking for…

I am so very excited about becoming a Holistic Life Coach. I have spent so much time in preparation for this. 48 years to be exact. Every breath I have taken in and then exhaled out has gotten me closer to this moment, and I am excited. But you know that other side of excited ...the side that can get kind of SCARY. Well I am hovering close to that occasionally. Why? Because I can't find the thread...that first string to get started. but I know this much to be true.....I will find it and all will…
